This Off Campus Season 2 Theory Predicts Sabrina’s Surprise Debut

The first season of *Off-Campus* quickly became one of Prime Video’s biggest hits ever—but this hockey romance has barely scratched the surface of Briar University and its love-struck student body.

It’s been confirmed that Ellie and Dean will headline Season 2, and the love interest for the (projected) Season 3 storyline has already been cast. However, viewers still don’t know who will play Sabrina—Tucker’s partner—in *The Goal*, the fourth book in Elle Kennedy’s *Off-Campus* series. Some fans theorize that that’s about to change. (Book spoilers ahead.)

Readers know that in *The Score* (the source material for Season 2), Dean’s best friend Beau dies tragically in a car accident. But before that, Sabrina and Beau have a casual relationship. In *The Goal*, Beau’s passing forces Sabrina to look at life—and, by extension, her relationship with Tucker—from a new perspective. Given that effect, it would make sense to show Sabrina and Beau’s time together… right?

One Redditor wrote that they’re “hoping they’ll surprise us with him” in season 2, which is currently in production. In a separate thread, another fan suggested that Sabrina could be introduced as Beau’s girlfriend; in that case, his sudden departure would leave her “grieving and not interested in any company,” a state of mind that could carry over into her storyline with Tucker.

In *The Book*, Sabrina is portrayed as closed to committed relationships—for reasons related to Beau’s death, since they’re not together when it happens. On X (formerly Twitter), a viewer was wondering how Season 2 would fit into all the stories it’s setting up. Indeed, there’s a lot going on!

It’s definitely possible for Sabrina to make a surprise appearance in Season 2, even though she hasn’t been officially cast yet. After all, the show took a wild turn in Season 1 by revealing Hunter Davenport’s character.

Whatever the next chapter, Jaylen Thomas Brooks is excited about his character’s journey with Sabrina—and the big situations they’ll face together. “It’s about that dynamic of how sweet and lovable Tucker is—he’s facing this incredibly strong, powerful woman who acts like she doesn’t need anyone,” Brooks recently told *Bustle*. “But it’s this feeling of, ‘Let me in; let me help; let’s do this together.'”

The *All American* star noted that, between co-showrunners Louisa Levy and Gina Fatorre and their writing team, “I think the actress who plays her would probably have a field day. Such great comedy, such great romance, really funny—it’s going to be good.”
